Our weekend was great. We traveled to my sister-in-law's house to celebrate David's birthday. David's dad, and mom were there along with some friends of the family. We went to an Indian casino which was fun. Neither of us are big gamblers so we just stayed at the nickle slots most of the time. I only spent around $15 and won $40. David didn't win anything. In fact, he lost at the black jack tables. All in all, we lost $40. His sister lost substantialy more than that. She was planning a trip to Vegas, but has decided it probably isn't the place for her. So, the two of us are looking into a four day cruise to Mexico. Hopefully I can save up the $ to go. I think she and I both could use a little time away.

My sister-in-law is a gambler. She loves the penny and nickell slots.
She always wins!
I don't ever worry about her getting carried away with it because my brother (the tightest human on earth)keeps her in line. :)
They take a designated amount and when that's gone they go home.
I've never tried it myself.
I'm like the unluckiest person on earth.

LOL we take a designated amount too. My motto is "Never take more than you can afford to lose" Of course we could have afforded to lose a little more than $40, but losing never feels good. This is only the second time I've been gambeling. I'd rather spend my money on shoes and purses.:)

Jason and I are thinking about going to Vegas in a few years with his sister and bro-in-law, but we're total tightwads so I don't see us doing any gambling...or drinking...I'm not sure why we'd go...

LOL

Yeah, David's sister wanted me to go to Vegas with her and I had no idea why I would go. I don't drink, I don't like to gamble, I get totally freaked out by loud crazy places with lots of people in them. I'd rather go to a spa. :)

Las Vegas is not even on my list (a very long list it is, too) of places I would like to go.
