We have a new addition to our home. David's mom's dog, Snoops, has come to live with us. He's a mini Dotson and is the cutest thing ever. Patches hasn't gotten used to not being an only dog yet, but they are getting a long just fine. It's made things a little hectic around here. Try to walk the both is an adventure.
Erin and I leave for PA next week. I can't wait to see my family. It will also be nice to have a break from work. It's been a hectic transition for me.
David is being considered for a position with his current company at their Pittsburgh location. It's an exciting possibility and an option we will consider.
Erin was awarded Reader Of The Month for her class yesterday. It was very exciting. She loves to read and it's nice that she received some recognition for it. She's also preparing to audition for a part in a school play. It's all so exciting for her. The new medication is working wonders! We are going to try cutting the Concerta, her first medication, in half to see if just the Stytera alone will be enough.
Why are lunch breaks so short?

I love dogs.

I have 2 cats, and I want a dog, but I think I like the idea of a dog more than the actual dog. Plus, our mobile home park has a two pet max (which I am thrilled about because I think some of our old ladies could be serious collectors)

Congratulations to Erin for being a Reader! Cultivating a love of reading is in my opinion one of the great gifts you can give your child.

One of my favorite set of books as a girl was the "Little House on the Prairie" set. I read it to the point of near memorization. I just bought the set again for my dear set of 3 nieces when I see them next. They are little, but I want them to have it. Daddy and Mommy can read it to them.

Way to go Erin!!

Have fun on your trip, I'm sad you won't be coming this way though.

I'm sad too! We'll be there in September, or maybe sooner depending on what happens with the job in Pittsburgh.
