What if I screw it all up? What if this move isn't the right one? What if we get there and realize it's all wrong? These are the questions that keep me up at night. I've wanted this for as long as I can remember and that is what I'm afraid of. What if my want of it is clouding my vision? Maybe I'm just trying to make excuses because I'm scared. I know that is it. I'm getting cold feet about moving. It would be so much easier to stay here, but here we are stuck in jobs we don't really love and Erin is stuck with a school where there is a police station on campus. We have all the answers here, but they don't add up to the life we want. There are only questions there, questions and possibility.

Truth is, you don't know. You have no guarantees. Fortunately, nothing is permanent, right? If things don't work out, you can go somewhere else. But I do think this is a good thing and what you really want. :)

Amen Kristen, that was exactly what I was going to say.

So What if it is wrong?? You make the best of your time there and then go do something else.

You will be fine no matter where you are!!

I echo everyone elses comments. I feel the same way about possibly moving. But, I think I remember someone...you...saying something to me when I was either moving to Edinboro or Warren. I think you said that God will use you no matter where you are. And the thing is...it doesn't have to be permanent. Give it a couple years to get adjusted to being out in the middle of nowhere. It will be a big change going from a really big city to living in a place with no stop lights. And if after a couple years you decide that it's not the place you want to settle, then try something else. You guys are still young...no need to rush the whole settling down thing. Live, see the world. And if it is the place you settle, then that's awesome. Now...just remember to tell me these same things if I get another job and start questioning my move. See you in a week and a half! -Jen

Thanks everyone. I know I'm just letting nerves get the best of me. This move will be worth it if for no other reason than we'll finally have a yard! Of course there are many other reasons that make it worth it.
Jen, I can't wait!!!!

Life is too short to be unhappy in it for even a little while. A school with it's own police station! No way, get away!

Change is a risk, and being nervous is natural. It would be strange if you weren't nervous!

A change of scenery, and a change of pace! Change is a good thing!
Cleansing, renewing, reviving!

Out with the old! In with the NEW!

I have been having some of the same thought lately regarding possible up coming changes for our family. This was good for me to read.
