One of her favorite movies is "Peter Pan". She believes that if she could just get her hands on some real Tink dust she could fly off to Neverland and make her own group of lost girls. She believes in fairies, magic spells, the Easter Bunny, and Santa Clause. Her eyes light up anytime we read a princess story. In her world there are no limits or boundries. Everything is a possiblity.

She and Em would have such fun together. Emmy has ever Peter Pan movie ever made (that I know about) expcept "Hook" (and I plan on getting it for her for Xmas)
I hear her back in her room saying "I believe, I believe, I do believe in fairies."
Let's let them keep the magic as long as they can!!

I'm with you. They have many years to not believe.

There is a great book called the Encyclopedia of Fairies. It's probably 250 pages, chock full of whimsical details. It has a map of the world where the fairies reside, which always thrills me. Pages of illustrations explaining their clothing and housing. It's truly magical. There is also one about gnomes that I love.

Thanks! I'm going to look that up right now. We found a book called "Fairyopia" that she looked through and wanted. It's going to be a Christmas present. We also looked at "Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy Journal" but she didn't like it much. She thought it was mean to smush the fairies.
